Ashling, officially called Liberty's Rowena, is the mare I've always dreamed about. When I was a child I always loved Haflinger pony's with their rich yellow colour and white manes. When I discovered Gypsy Cobs I found my heart horses. I immediately thought that a Gypsy Cob with a rich palomino colour would be picture perfect. But, in the beginning these Gypsies we're rare and most of the time lacking in feather, conformation etc due to crossbreeding.  There was 1 Gypsy Horse I really liked and who wasn't bothered by his colour; Clononeen Mull of Kintyre, aka Romeo. I figured, my future mare needs to have same bloodlines as this quality stallion. So, I kept on searching and waiting.. A friend of mine once showed me a picture of a filly foal in Ireland, sired by Shambo. Shambo, aka Pallams Horse or the Yellow Stallion, is the sire of Romeo and screams quality! Offcourse the filly wasn't for sale but I never forgot her, she would be perfect…
More than a year later my friend contacted me again; the filly would possibly be for sale, but only if I really wanted her… Now do I need to say more? A few weeks later Ashling came over to the Netherlands.

Ashling is about 1.45 cm/14.1 hands high. She has a beautiful colour and her body is splashed with with spots (sabino). She looks a lot after her father and has the most quiet and sweet character.

Ashling is in foal to our stallion An Rua. This foal will be a quality foal for sure. If you are interested in their foal; contact me!
